You're on a photograph I took. What now?

1. Who owns the photo?

As a creator I have exclusive rights for the use and distribution of the photo.

2. May you upload the photo?

You may use the photo only for private (non commercial) purposes and including the recognition of authorship.

3. What is recognition of authorship?

Recognition of authorship means that you must include the following information next to my photo:

4. May I edit / crop the photo?

Not. It is not allowed to modify / edit / manipulate / crop my photos, apply any filters, or remove the logo / watermark. If you have any questions or special requests, please contact me first!

5. May I use the photo as my profile picture (Facebook, Instagram etc.)?

Some social media platforms crop images to a square format. My photographs are rectangular and any cropping is not allowed (see 4. above).

6. May you use the photo for commercial purposes?

When you receive the photo from me for free, you may use it only for private (non commercial) purposes and including the recognition of authorship (see 3. above).

If you didn't give me an assignment for commercial photography, you may not use my photographs for commercial purposes. Should you wish to use my work to advertise your services, company, fair, club etc.—you may not use my photos without my written consent (licence).
